2:00 "happy hour and setup"
4:00 Fire up grill, burgers, dogs, and soda provided.

Antietam Pre-paddle:
Meet at Devils Backbone Park at 12 Noon ready to change and get geared up for the paddle. We will then get all the cars to OutDoor Excursions (the location of the picnic). Someone will get the drivers back to the put in and we will paddle to the picnic. Its is a very family friendly paddle. Contact JD Pearl. Refer to message board for updates.

Park is across from Antietam Creek Canoe, so go to their WEB site for directions.

Directions to picnic:
From Boonsboro on MD-34
Turn right on Wheeler Rd
Turn left at Girl Scout Rd
Continue on Osage Rd till the very end. You will come to a field. Pavillion at the far end. Park near the river at opposite end from the pavillion. Osage Rd is shale and narrow road. Carefull with speed here.

Description:: The US National Championships on August 30th is an open competition that will draw the best slalom racers in the country, including the entire US Whitewater Slalom Team.
